The ambassador had finished recording the songs in the summer of 2015 with his son Jeff.  Along with the help of his grandson Nick he was able to see the completion of the graphic work before he passed in early December.
"Obviously with Pop passing this project has become that much more special to all of us.  I think he sounds great on this CD and he picked out some great material" said son and producer Jeff DeMaio.  The CD will be available at all of Gunsmoke's performances this summer.
